Why Spinning Is Used In Textile Industry?
Spinning is used in textile due to bring the fibres into yarn. Without yarn it is not possible to make a fabric. So spinning uses is one of the crucial parts of textile manufacturing.
The first stage in the production of a fabric from fibres is to clean and mix them thoroughly. That’s why spinning is used. The fibres are generally straightened, but for the production of certain types of fabric they must be brought into a condition in which they are all parallel.
The fibres are next drawn out into the form of sliver, which resembles a rope but with the fibres having now twist. Repeated twisting follows. This twisting is to give the resulting roving just sufficient to prevent breakage in its manipulation. Thus a fine roving is produced which is finally twisted into yarn. And yarn is the ultimate result of spinning. The spinning is used to produce fabrics, by either knitting or weaving.
An alternative method of producing a fabric from fibres without the uses of spinning is that of felt making.
In spinning segments some preliminary process are done which is very necessary for a textile fibres and fabrics. Spinning used to purification of textile fibres is left to that stage at which the fibres are in the form of yarn of fabric. This is because it is more convenient to apply purification treatments with the fibres in a manufactured form such as yarn and fabric as hey hen lend themselves better to mechanical handling.
This does not apply o such a solid impurities as sand, dirt and bits of stalk or leaf. These impurities are removed before spinning since they would interfere with these early processes. It is the natural fat, wax, color, and similar impurities which can remain until the later spinning process.
The reasons mentioned above, is very important for the primary process of yarn making. So spinning used in textile industry.
